FLOCK AIR Regulations

Beside the normal Regulations on our sessions, is it important that you also are following the normal Standard FLOCK-AIR procedures, especially if you are joining from another Airline, you should try to get shortly used of our SOP.

Flightplans:

After you joined a Session of FLOCK-AIR, you have to check ATIS and contact the ATC with that information. Its also required, that you have filed your Flightplan into the Chatbox.

A Standard FLOCK-AIR Flightplan should include the following Basic details of your planned flight, so that it becomes easier for the ATC, to handle your aircraft and requests:

FLOCK-AIR FLIGHTPLAN:

Example:
+FP FOA-001 / B738 / KLAX - KSAN / IFR / FL080 / with BRAVO

DETAILS:

+FP...................................................Flightplan

FOA-xxx............................................FOA = Flock-Air Callsign/Prefix and Pilot Number

B738.................................................means that you are a Boeing 737/800 if its a CRJ700 or any other Aircraft like A320, you have to fill that information in

KLAX-KSAN.......................................means that you want to fly in that case from Los Angeles to San Diego, so you have to put normally the 4Letter Code of the airport of that you are approaching /starting/ and the one you are flying to / landing.
If you want to Remain in the pattern, only write:  / remitp / into your flightplan, than its clear for the ATC that you stay in the area of your current airport

IFR...............................means that you are going for an instrumental flight, so expect vectors and full advisory for your flight.
If you want to go for a visual flight put here / VFR / into it, than you will be cleared shortly after your approach to own Navigation.
Another option would be going VFR  with vectors / VFR wV / so you go for a visual flight but receiving vectors, especially interesting if your are in an area that you are not familiar with

FL080........................................means that you are requesting 8000feet altidue, for 35000 you have to write FL350, so just let the last two 00 away, youll see if the ATC clears you right on your requested one, or higher or below that.

with BRAVO..........................shows that you have the information received from the ATIS, write here all the time that information, that is currently defined.

ALWAYS KEEP CHARTS,especially the GROUND CHARTS and a pen and paper ready, because FULL READ BACK is required on FLOCK-AIR Sessions, and espcecially when you are getting your Taxi Clearance, there is sometimes a lot to know of, if you are readind back.
